Our Research

  • Investigate the post-classical city (7th – 20th centuries) and the nature of urban transformation

  • Examine the effects of natural disasters, such as tsunami events, on the city and its population 

  • Connect the surrounding communities of Sdot Yam, Caesarea, Or Akiva, and Jisr al-Zarqa' to the site of Caesarea via public history including, museum development and local individual participation
